TRANSPARENCY NOTICE (AI ACT COMPLIANCE)

The virtual assistant AL is a solution based on Generative Artificial Intelligence, exclusively designed to provide information, guidance, and answers within the agricultural sector under a Question and Answer (Q&A) model. AL does not replace specialized professional advice, nor does it make automated decisions with legal, financial, or contractual effects on users. Its use is limited to informative, technical, and educational purposes within the Biome Makers ecosystem.

USE POLICY FOR ASSISTANT AL – BIOME MAKERS

1. Scope of Application (Domain Specificity)

AL's responses are strictly limited to the agricultural sector. Any legal, medical, or financial inference generated by the model will be considered Out-of-Distribution and null in validity.

2. Probabilistic Nature (Hallucinations)

The user acknowledges that AL operates through probabilistic models that may generate inaccurate information, bias, or “hallucinations” (responses that appear plausible but are factually incorrect).

3. Human Validation (Human-in-the-Loop)

Biome Makers is not responsible for direct or indirect damages or crop loss derived from the application of advice generated by AL without proper validation by a certified agronomist. The final decision for field implementation rests exclusively with the human user.

4. Use of Conversations for Retraining (RLHF)

Biome Makers reserves the right to use the text of inquiries (stripped of user metadata) for quality assurance and model retraining (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback) to improve the Assistant's taxonomic and contextual accuracy. Interactions may be analyzed anonymously, used for statistical purposes, and employed for system training and improvement.

CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION WARNING

The user acknowledges that—unless using an isolated Enterprise instance with a dedicated contract with Biome Makers—the assistant operates on a shared cloud infrastructure using commercially available Large Language Models (LLMs). Entering Confidential Information (Core Know-How, Trade Secrets) or third-party data without express authorization into the assistant's queries is strictly prohibited.

DISCLAIMER FOR DATA LEAKAGE IN QUERIES

The User accepts that any confidential information voluntarily provided to assistant AL loses its strict confidentiality status toward Biome Makers from the moment of input.

The User understands that LLMs may, in theory, retain information patterns. If proprietary data is entered, a residual (though minimal) technical risk exists that the model may associate concepts within its latent vectors. Biome Makers is not responsible for any loss of competitive advantage derived from voluntary exposure of such data to the algorithm.

SANITIZATION AND CONTEXT RETENTION POLICY

To ensure information security, AL operates under a principle of “Contextual Amnesia” between sessions (statelessness).

AL processes queries in ephemeral context windows and does not persist sensitive information. Biome Makers guarantees that it will not commercialize the raw data of User queries with third parties.

AGGREGATE USE RIGHTS

The User grants Biome Makers a perpetual, irrevocable, and worldwide license to use entered data in an anonymized manner for retraining neural models, improving taxonomic accuracy, and analyzing agricultural sector trends, without generating any right to compensation for the user.
